Jawad Ansari brings more than 15 years of investment experience and extraordinary global relationships to the GCube.  Ansari is the founder and former General Partner of Miven Venture Partners, a $100M fund focused on Media and Consumer investments in China, India and US in 2005, targeting early stage consumer-focused technology opportunities (software, silicon, devices, web, and mobility) and media (content creation, distribution, management). Ansari is the founder and former Chairman & CEO of Corporate Metrix, a diversified investments firm in California founded in 2003, with assets under management of $3 billion. He has built strong relationships with leading venture capital funds, private equity funds, hedge funds, and leading investment banks globally and institutional limited partners; and brings GCube and its portfolio companies’ access to investors.

Nolan Bushnell - ADVISOR

Nolan Bushnell is an engineer and entrepreneur who founded both Atari, Inc and the Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza-Time Theaters chain. He also founded Catalyst Technologies, one of the earliest business incubators. Catalyst Technologies Group companies included Androbot, Etak, Cumma, and Axlon. Bushnell has been inducted into the Video Game Hall of Fame and the Consumer Electronics Association Hall of Fame, received the Nations Restaurant News “Innovator of the Year” award, and was named one of Newsweek's "50 Men That Changed America." Bushnell has started more than twenty companies and is one of the founding fathers of the video game industry. He is currently the founder and CEO of uWink, a game-based restaurant startup, and the Chairman of the board at NeoEdge Networks, an advertising-based video game company.

ED FRIES - ADVISOR

Ed Fries is a leader in the interactive entertainment business who has changed the way we work and play. At Microsoft, Fries launched both Excel and Word, two programs with pitch perfect, universal appeal. As founder of Microsoft Game Studios, Fries helped create and launch the Xbox, doing for the game industry what he did for office productivity. Fries began his career creating games for Atari. He is currently working with FigurePrints, a company, which brings video game characters to life through 3D color printing.

MARK DELOURA - ADVISOR

Mark DeLoura is a San Francisco-based videogame technology executive, most recently VP Technology for GreenScreen Interactive, a young multinational publisher. Mark has also served as the technical director for Ubisoft’s North American headquarters in San Francisco, manager of developer relations at Sony Computer Entertainment America, lead engineer at Nintendo of America, and editor-in-chief of Game Developer Magazine. Mark is on the board of directors for the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) and OneBigGame. He is the creator of the Game Programming Gems series of books, and the founding editor of the Journal of Game Development

RIZ KHAN - ADVISOR

Riz Khan is an international journalist based in Washington DC and Dubai. He is best known for his hugely successful shows on CNN and Al Jazeera and is an interactive television pioneer. Khan currently hosts the interactive Riz Khan Show, available in close to 135 million households worldwide. He has conducted thousands of interviews with guests including the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, former US Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, the Dalai Lama and Nelson Mandela. Mr. Khan runs an independent production company, and acts as an international media consultant and moderator for high-profile conferences and conventions, including the World Economic Forum, BusinessWeek, and United Nations and World Bank key events. He is also the founding director and creative force of the 3D video game company Colourblind Entertainment.

REX WONG - ADVISOR

Rex Wong is a successful Internet and IT entrepreneur and investor. His recent companies include Applied Semantics, the creators of AdSense which was acquired by Google for $102 million in 2003. Mr. Wong is currently the CEO of NEXT.TV, a next generation IPTV broadcasting company and also serves on the Board of Directors of China Genetics and Citation Publishing. Prior to that, he was the Founder and President of Accelertech (acquired 2002), a server manufacturer, Managing Partner of Envision Internet Fund, an early stage venture fund that returned over 1000% to its investors, CEO of Envision Computers, a computer retail chain, Executive Vice President for Microcom Computers, Managing Director of the Bureau of China Trade and Investment, Editor-in-Chief of China Watch and China Watch Online. Mr. Wong is a member of Emmy Advanced Technology Committee, Monte Jade, Interactive TV Alliance (ITA) and the Media Entertainment Technology Alliance and is a featured speaker and panelist at events such as CES, Red Herring, Digital Hollywood, NAB and NATPE.

RAJ SINGH - ADVISOR

Raj Singh of Redwood Venture Partners has a wealth of experience in funding and managing technology startups. Before founding Redwood Venture, Raj Singh was an engineer at National Semiconductor, Cirrus Logic and Nexgen. While at Nexgen, Mr Singh co-authored a book titled "Digital Desin and Synthesis with Verilog HDL" that sold 10,000 copies over ten years. He left Nexgen to start InterHDL, an EDA tools vendor. His next startup Fiberlane was in telecommunications that later split into two companies: Cerent sold to Cisco, and Siara sold to Redback. Then he started Stratumone, a communications chip company, that was acquired by Cisco. He has also seeded several startups, namely, Ambit and Magma. Mr Singh has also invested in the next generation aimation technologies and has been an executive producer of several low budget indie cinema in the USA. He is looking forward to help Gcube's entrepreneurs.

ASHFAQ A. MUNSHI - ADVISOR

Ashfaq A. Munshi is the Founder, CEO and Chairman at Terabitz. Formerly he was Founder, CEO and Chairman of Radiance Technologies, Inc. and Founder of Vivecon. Mr. Munshi is currently chairman of the Compensation Committee as well as a member of the Audit Committee of MSC Software Corporation (NASDAQ: MSCS). He also serves as an advisor to Transitive Corporation. Additionally, Mr. Munshi has served as an advisor to the School of Engineering, Harvard University. Prior to 2000, Mr. Munshi was a founding advisor for SupplyBase Inc. and was the founder, CEO and Chairman of SpecialtyMD.com. During his career, Mr. Munshi has held senior positions at Applied Materials, SGI, and Oracle. He has also been an avid angel investor. Mr. Munshi performed his graduate studies in business at the Graduate School of Business Executive Program of Stanford University and graduate studies in computer science at Brown University and the University of California at Santa Cruz. He holds a bachelors degree in physics and applied mathematics from Harvard.
